Been coming here for the last 12 months as our go to. Absolutely perfect every time. Never had a bad meal, fresh and high quality food. Highly recommend :-)

Nice Brussels and Liege waffles. Brussels is light and crispy and the Liege has a great flavour. Toppings are great too.

Waffle me this. It's not just waffles. There are ice creams, delicious drink concoctions, tea, coffee, and filtered water. On the waffles, you get a choice of heavy or light, the Liege or Brussels. You can watch as the batter is thrown onto the iron to cook your waffle.Today, we tried the Spectacular Speculoos, The Carnival, Matcha Panda, and Apple Crumble, with a Mango Smoothie. All were beautifully presented and matched in taste and flavour. Sure, they were sweet, however the sugar was restrained. With the name of each waffle, the taste is as it says. For instance, the Apple Crumble was exactly like eating Mum's except with a crispy waffle. This place is particularly busy in the evenings. You get their with a short walk from the Subiaco Train Station.

I took my kids to have lunch here. Food is faboulous no complaint. Perfect ambience and locations. The whole experience was ruined thanks to a person. Initially I ignored all other review mentioning they have received rude treatment, but now i am convinced. It seemed to me that it is logical that when you ordered dessert, it will automatically served at the end of meal, unless you are requesting for it to arrive together with your mains. We are talking about ordering belgian waffle as a dessert. The waitress rudely saying why I didnt say it when I ordered. Even though she put them back and served us a new one, the attitude is extremely bad.

Waffles were absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. We also enjoyed the coffee and virgin mojito drink (not pictured). We went on a Sunday evening, there was plenty of seating options and the service was quick.

Absolutely DELICIOUS. The Brussels style waffles were perfect as their light and fluffy style made the meal feel not to heavy and sickly. I enjoyed the Strawberry Fields with a strawberry milkshake and I was not disappointed. The milkshake was perfect, not too sweet and sugary, and the plate came with the perfect amount of strawberries and ice cream to waffle ratio. The person I came with ordered the Belgian Liege style waffles which was absolutely yummy. Accompanying this dish was a regular vanilla milkshake was was similar to the strawberry one, not sickly sugary.Service was very quick and staff were super friendly. They even gave us two complimentary mini Liege style waffles on little pop-sticks dusted with icing sugar. I would 100% recommended going to this very awesome little cafe whenever you have a sweet tooth or a craving for delicious waffles.

The Abbey
The Abbey is our favourite place to have dinner and bring our friends and family. The setting is beautiful, unique, and the owners are lovely. The food is consistently good (we have been more than a dozen times and never been disappointed) and the portions are massive, so come hungry! Although, with dessert always being an option, the Belgian Waffles and Chocolate Torte (pictured) are highly recommended!

Dropped in for lunch last weekend and the service and food were amazing, the staff friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. So on our way out the door we booked for our post wedding lunch yesterday.Just wow. Expectations were again exceeded on our return. The food was as good as our first try, but the fact that the staff went above and beyond was incredible. We were a small party of close family but the table was beautifully set up waiting for us. Despite us being 30 minutes late, we were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and they even stayed late just to accomodate our little celebration.I cannot begin to express my gratitude to everyone at The Abbey on 3/5/23 for their part in making our little weekday elopement the most special day of our lives.Looking forward to returning for anniversary visits.

Waffles were delicious. Go for the liege style waffles if you like it more buttery and indulgent. Brussels style if you want a lighter and slightly more crispy experience. Some waffles come with ice cream, some don't - If you feel like adding one, I recommend the speculoos ice cream.

So happy to find somewhere to treat my kids to an evening dessert while we were in the area. Highly recommend the liege waffles which are more like brioche. The other waffles are yummy, just lighter and much more crispy.
